Privacy Policy
We collect very little, only with a clear reason, and we never sell it. Here's the whole picture in plain language.

Who we are
This website is operated by Western Crest Ventures LLP ("AroWest", "we"), Mazhavannoor, Nedumkandam P.O., Kalkoonthal Village, Udumbanchola Taluk, Idukki District, Kerala, India — 685553. For anything in this policy, write to hello@arowest.com.
Purchases are made on our store, shop.arowest.com, which runs on Shopify — checkout and order data there are additionally covered by the store's own policies shown at checkout.
What we collect, and why
1 · Analytics — only if you allow it
We use Google Analytics 4 under Consent Mode v2: no analytics cookie is set and no usage data is collected until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Reject non-essential (or press nothing), analytics stays off. IP addresses are anonymised. You can change your mind anytime via Cookie Settings in the footer.
2 · Price alerts — only if you subscribe
If you opt in to price alerts we store what's needed to deliver them: your e-mail address (verified by a confirmation link) or your browser's push endpoint, plus the crops you chose, your alert threshold, digest preference and timezone. Every alert carries a one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribing deactivates the subscription. We use this data for nothing else.
3 · Contact form & e-mail
If you write to us we receive what you send — name, e-mail and message — and use it solely to reply and handle your enquiry.
4 · Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) for security and abuse prevention.
What we don't do
- We never sell or rent your personal data.
- No advertising trackers, no ad personalisation, no cross-site profiling.
- No sharing with third parties beyond the processors below.
- This site is not directed at children.
Service providers we rely on
A small number of processors handle data on our behalf, each only for its purpose:
- Google Analytics 4 — usage statistics, only after your consent.
- Browser push services (operated by your browser vendor — e.g. Google, Mozilla or Apple) — deliver the push alerts you subscribed to.
- Our hosting provider — serves the site and keeps security logs.
- Shopify — runs shop.arowest.com, where orders and payments are processed.

How long we keep things
- · Alert subscriptions — until you unsubscribe (then deactivated).
- · Contact messages — as long as needed to handle the enquiry and our records.
- · Analytics — Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
- · Server logs — short rotation by the hosting provider.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it (e.g. remove an alert subscription entirely). E-mail hello@arowest.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will be visible on the site — we won't quietly expand what we collect.
